We don’t always think about food safety at work—until something goes wrong.
In today’s workplaces, food is everywhere. Team lunches, snack stations, breakfast bars, and catered meetings—they’ve become a regular part of office life. Whether it’s a Friday pizza party or daily meal delivery for fast-paced teams, food plays a big role in how we connect, recharge, and stay productive.
That’s great for morale. It shows that companies care. But with more food around, there’s also more risk. Most offices aren’t designed like restaurant kitchens. And the more people who eat at work, the higher the chance of something slipping through the cracks.
