First Lady Melania Trump got his husband’s okay to go ahead and threaten Hunter Biden with a $1 billion lawsuit unless he retracts comments linking her to deceased sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein and apologises. He responded, “f… that!”
On August 6, the first lady threatened to sue the son of former President Joe Biden for more than $1 billion if he didn’t retract the claim that she was introduced to her husband by the infamous financier who committed suicide in August 2019 at Manhattan’s Metropolitan Correctional Centre (MCC)
The threat of being sued by the First Lady has not stopped the scandal-plagued Biden, who was pardoned by his father after pleading guilty to tax violations and was convicted on firearms-related charges, USA Today wrote on August 15. They spent an enormous amount of time together,” Biden said of the president and Epstein in his interview with YouTube show Channel 5 with Andrew Callaghan. “That’s how Melania, the first lady and the president met. Yeah, according to Michael Wolff,” he said, referring to the author of several Trump books.

‘That’s not going to happen’
When Callaghan asked Biden if he would like to apologise to the first lady, he bluntly responded, “F— that. That’s not going to happen.” Biden cited 2019 news on media outlets, which “reported that sources said that Jeffrey Epstein claimed to be the person to introduce Donald Trump to Melania at that time.”
On August 14, President Trump said he told Melania to sue Hunter Biden. “Jeffrey Epstein had nothing to do with Melania,” he told Fox Radio’s Brian Kilmeade in an interview. But they do that to demean. I told her to go ahead and do it. She was very upset about it.”
Defamatory and ‘extremely salacious’
Alejandro Brito is Melania Trump’s lawyer, and he said Biden’s statements are false, defamatory, and “extremely salacious.”
Biden’s remarks were widely shared on social media and reported by media outlets around the world, causing the first lady “to suffer overwhelming financial and reputational harm,” Brito wrote.
Trump and his wife have long said they were introduced by Paolo Zampolli, a modelling agent, at a New York Fashion Week party in 1998.
