In a fresh Kaspersky survey, it turns out most gamers aren’t just bringing their controllers to the lobby – they’re bringing their digital wallets too. According to the study, a whopping 72 % of respondents own some form of cryptocurrency.

- Knowledge boost: 48 % of people say they’re very or extremely knowledgeable about crypto.
- Women are catching up: 41 % of women claim deep crypto insights, down from 46 % of men – the gender gap is shrinking faster than a rubber gun in a virtual battle.

- Almost half think crypto will become the go‑to method for online shopping (29 %) and would happily use it for everyday stuff (26 %).

“Our findings show a solid growth in crypto literacy,” says Marina Titova, Vice‑President of Consumer Product Marketing at Kaspersky. “Half of the respondents now feel confident with digital money, and we’re rolling out extra security layers—think of it as a shield against cyber pirates—so people can trade safely.”
