The finanical support has been cut as part of the US government spending review led by Musk.

The team are based at Yale University and use open-source technology to track down the children in Russia to bring them back to Ukraine.

There has been close to 20,000 known reports of “unlawful deportation and forced transfer of children” to eliminate Ukrainian culture and make them believe in a pro-Russian way of thinking.

Mykola Kuleba, who is the CEO and co-founder of the charity Save Ukraine and are based in Kyiv previously stated, “Russia is stealing our future.”

Save Ukraine is a leading organisation who are dedicated to rescue abducted Ukrainian children from Russia.

Mr Kuleba’s expert team have already successfully brought 605 children home, to Ukraine, making a profound impact on one of the most pressing humanitarian crises caused by Russia’s war against Ukraine.

The much respetted organisation “Save Ukraine” is the largest and leading organisation in this field, working alongside international and local partners to rescue abducted children and provide them with critical post-rescue rehabilitation and reintegration support.

Beyond rescue missions, the organisation is building a comprehensive social services system to address the deep trauma, systematic indoctrination, and militarisation these children have endured. In addition, “Save Ukraine” provides broader assistance to other vulnerable children and families in Ukrainian communities.

Mr Kuleba brings extensive expertise in child protection and advocacy, having served as Ukraine’s Ombudsman for Children’s Rights from 2014 to 2021, where he led key reforms in deinstitutionalisation and child protection.

In March 2023 the International Criminal Court (ICC) who are based in Hague, issued an arrest warrant for war crimes of Vladimir Putin, including the Russian children’s commissioner Maria Lvova-Belova for the illegal deportation of children.

The Kremlin denies these claims and insist the Russia is purely wanting to help “abandoned” Ukrainian children.
