Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that US President-elect Donald Trump could be the first leader to fly to Ukraine by plane.

Zelensky said that Trump flying to Ukraine by airplane “would be symbolic,” he also said that he has the ability to stop Vladimir Putin and provide Kyiv with strong guarantees.
Zelenskyy said in an interview published on Sunday on the YouTube channel of the Office of the President of Ukraine, “I think that the war will end and President Trump may be the first leader to travel here by airplane. I think it would be symbolic by airplane.”
President Zelensky said that Ukraine has the same position on peace through force as Trump, he said in the interview.
Zelensky said, “I love President Trump’s message. I think that we share a position on peace through strength. That is very important.
“It means that if you are strong, you can speak. And we need to be strong and Ukraine has to be strong.”
